Christophe works primarily in the areas of municipal law, real estate, and business law. He grew up in Carver County and enjoys working together with clients to solve problems and to build up the people, businesses, and local governments which make up a strong community.
Before joining Melchert Hubert Sjodin, Christophe was an associate at a firm in St. Cloud, Minnesota practicing in business and municipal law, litigation, and criminal prosecution for cities in Stearns County. During law school he worked at Title Mark in Waconia, at a public interest law firm which advocated for economic liberties, and for a private law firm in Minneapolis which specialized in bankruptcy proceedings and commercial leasing.
Christophe studied at the University of St. Thomas School of law where he was senior editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy, the president of the International Law Students Association, and treasurer for the Board of Advocates Leadership Team. He and his Moot Court team also won awards, including best brief in the Notre Dame Religious Liberties competition.
Outside of work, Christophe enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, making and enjoying cheese, playing the trumpet, and fishing.
